Bakoven is a small Atlantic beach just past Camps Bay, tucked between large granite boulders that help trap and tumble glass. The area has a long fishing history dating back to the 1800s, which likely explains the variety of older finds. Collectors have reported white, green, amber, seafoam and blue glass here, along with marbles, black glass, insulators and pottery. Low tide is best, especially around the boulders and kelp line after strong winter swells. Parking is available at the end of Beta
