What Seaglassmap found here
Newfoundland's glass beach lies at the end of a three minute trail off Route 390, on the edge of Springdale. This was the town dump, and the surf has been working on what went over the bank ever since. There is no sand here. The ground is rock, glass and old plate fragments, mostly white and green, thick enough that the beach reads as a mosaic. Visitors started leaving with shopping bags full, so in 2014 a former teacher, Anne Warr, put up a sign asking people to leave the glass where it lies. The mayor and a local poet stood with her when it went up, and the sign is still there. Photograph it and take nothing home. The path is short but steep, with tree roots underfoot and a scramble between rocks at the bottom.
