Be straight about this one: there is very little sea glass on Omaha. The collector who documented it found only a handful, all small, and all in one place: the narrow strip of pebbles up at the rock line at the top of the beach, not out on the great tidal sand flat. What there is runs green, from aqua through to a yellowish citron, and most of it is craft grade. Come here for the history; if you're walking it anyway, work the shingle at the high-water line. This is a war memorial: no digging, no detecting (it's banned), and leave the beach as you found it.
