For over a century this headland was Rocky Point Amusement Park. The rides closed in 1995, the shoreline reopened in 2011, and Narragansett Bay has been handing back the park's glass ever since: whites, greens and ambers with aqua, seafoam and the odd lavender. The easy pickings of the early years are gone. Come after a blow and take your time.
