Worth knowing before you drive: Allonby has a big reputation in sea glass groups, but the one detailed first-hand write-up is a disappointment: four hours of hunting produced a handful of pieces, and the author wrote that "what was surprising was the absence of sea glass." The same collector found far more at PARTON, half an hour south, which is also on this map. Free parking along the shore road, short walk across the dunes.
