A rocky, pebbly Ayrshire shore of coves and outcrops, under the ruins of Dunure Castle. Park in the village by the harbour and walk down. Be clear what you are coming for, though: Dunure is an agate beach. Nobody has written up sea glass here, and for that, Stevenston up the coast is the one collectors name.
