The glass here is on the strip of sand and rubble under the downtown seawall, on the sea side of Avenida Rafael E. Melgar between the Punta Langosta cruise pier and the ferry terminal, and it only exists at low tide. Cross to the water side, walk toward town along the white wall, and look for the openings: there are steps, and then a short drop onto the sand. Tumbled bottle glass in greens, browns and whites, well rounded and properly frosted, comes in against this wall in real quantity; a collector reported 20+ pieces an hour, and another was still filling her pockets here in 2024. Do not climb on the pier or into the terminal, and take the glass only: shells and coral are protected all along this coast.
