Nordstrand, Skagen
At Denmark’s northern tip, where the North Sea meets the Baltic, Skagen is one of the few places in Nordjylland where sea glass appears with some regularity. Finds include white, green and amber glass, as well as pieces of old wired safety glass, once commonly used in factories, laboratories and fish halls. Danish sea glass is generally scarce, which makes this stretch a notable regional exception. Access the beach from the end of Batterivej and search along the tideline, ideally after strong No
