Lisfannon Beach, Buncrana
On the shore of Lough Swilly on the Inishowen peninsula, Lisfannon is the beach collectors in the northwest of Ireland name first: a long sandy strand broken by the patches of rock and pebble where the glass collects. The lough is sheltered water, so pieces survive whole and gather along the tideline. Work the pebbly stretches at low tide, toward Fahan. Easy parking off the Buncrana road.
